eShe Mobile Application
eShe App is a mobile application meant to provide medical, nutrition and health solutions to a woman and the girl child. Its various components include:
eShe Platform
This is a project directed to schools and children homes in the slums and remote areas. It is also meant for orphans and those from extremely poor homes. For example, over 350 million women in sub-Saharan Africa do not access mobile phones.
SMS Option
Many women still cannot access android, iOS or Windows phones but need to access eShe App solution. Using SMS, women can easily track their menstrual cycles which entails tracks periods, cycles, ovulation and the chance of conception. Also, helping women for before, during, and after pregnancy.
Girl Talk
This ensures the solution is available to all women and every girl child. Women in the slums, rural areas and poor women have really benefitted from this option since it is easier to access such kind of a mobile phone.In Kenya alone, out of 42 million Kenyans, 39.8% access mobile phones which is really encouraging and ensures more women access our solution.
Talk to Doctor
eShe App and eShe Platform have doctors from around the world covering various areas of the woman’s health. The service is free for the girl child and the women. A good example is, a young girl or a woman in Kibera slum (one of Africa’s biggest slums) can access a doctor from the 1st world say United Kingdom at no cost. Doctors answer questions from women around the world.
Get Ambulance
In case of a medical emergency, dial an ambulance. By using eShe App or sending a text message, the patient gets an ambulance faster. This saves time and saves lives. This is available for all regardless of their geographical or social location. Comes in handy when time is of essence.

How eShe Platform Works

We donate an internet enabled computer to a school.

Create an account for the school that incorporates all the girls in the school.

Appoint and train a teacher(s) to manage the Platform

The school now comfortably helps the girls track and manage their menstrual cycles accurately

The girls can also access Talk to Doctor, where they can get free medical care and advice from doctors around the world.

In collaboration with people and organizations donating sanitary pads, the school accurately determines who exactly and how many girls need the pads.

The information in eShe Platform is confidential and the schools are not allowed to let unauthorized people access it.
